Want to go "au naturale"?

Products in a natural aluminium look great on any colour vehicle.

Easily cleaned with warm soapy water and a gentle scourer, it can even be polished and buffed to a mirror shine with enough elbow grease and time... honest! 

Products in natural finish are readily available from stock.

Considering a powder coated finish?

Generally this just comes down to personal preference with regards to overall appearance. Although ours is tougher than other powder coat finishes available (guaranteed for 1000 salt-hours) it will, inevitably, scratch/scuff over time.

Heat-absorbtion properties of anything black should also be considered if you intend to use black powder coated products in hot climates.

Although black powder coating is by far our most popular finish, other RAL colours are available but could be subject to a minium order charge and/or paint powder surcharge.

If your long-serving black roof rack is now beginning to look a bit tired we can offer a strip and re-powdercoat service to bring it back to new. 

Although we do generally keep a good stock of powder coated roof racks and chequer plate products they are very popuar and can sell quickly - please bear in mind that there may be a lead-time of up to two weeks.

Want it to be even more hardwearing?

Anodising is the electrolytic process for producing oxide coatings, giving improved surface resistance to wear and corrosion.

This finish is particularly popular on our chequer plate products therefore we generally keep a large stock of these, available for immediate dispatch.

Lead time for non-stock items is approximately one week from date of order.

Due to the range and size/design of individual products it is not possible to anodise everything we manufacture (such as our access ladders) so please enquire as to availabilty & suitability.
